Door number 1 of our advent calendar is ready to open now!

Year 6

Ms Lankester

Welcome to Year 6!

My name is Ms Lankester and I am the year six class teacher. Mrs Billios works in our class to support us. Being in the oldest class of upper juniors is the best part of primary school. We expect the best from you all and for you to behave in ways that show off your most excellent knowledge.

An excellent first half term of year six. Thank you to the children for their excellent behaviour as tour guides during the open afternoon. Likewise, their class liturgy on Vocation and Commitment was excellent. Please see the slide show attached of some of their excellent work.

Some key information for the next half term -

  • Monday: PE with Ms Lankester
  • Tuesday: PE with sports coach
  • Monday 14th - Thursday 17th November: Book fair in the main hall until 4pm, card payments only
  • Tuesday 13th December 2022: 6pm, Christmas celebration at St Mary's church
  • Friday 16th December 2022: finish at 2pm for Christmas holidays

If you have any questions, please see me at the end of the day. Alternatively, you may send an email to the school office who can forward any queries on to myself.

Looking forward to another half term of excellent learning and the important Christmas celebration.

PE Kit

Children are now allowed to wear their PE kit to school on the days that they have PE. Please ensure your child has the correct PE kit which consists of a white t-shirt, navy shorts and plimsoles or trainers. During the colder weather your child should wear the School PE jumper.

If your child has to attend an event such as Mass or go on a school trip, they will be required to wear their school uniform on that day. PE kit should be brought to school and children will change for their PE lesson accordingly.

If your child has a club before school, uniform should be brought to change into, once the club has finished.

If your child has a club after school and it is not a PE day, uniform should be worn as normal and PE kit should be brought to change into before the club begins.
